This image depicts sister orishas, Yemaya and Ochun, holding hands against the background of Yemaya's ocean domain. Yemaya is pictured as a mermaid since her home is in the ocean. Ochun is dressed in her color, yellow. Together they swim towards the sun which Yemaya caresses. The sun creates the form of a nipple on the breast of a female torso. The other breast is adorned with a peacock feather, a symbol of Ochun.

This design was used by El Diario/ La Prensa in their 2003 Latinas Destacada/ distinguished Latinas celebration.
